Bush voters are huffers, Kerry’s are stoners.

Alex November 11th, 2007

Okay, so check this out:
75% of people who voted for George Bush also prefer the smell of new tennis balls to fres-cut grass.

What does this mean? I think it’s that slight chemical smell from the canister. That’s what i like, the smell of production, of factories and commerce. Everybody who voted for Kerry and Edwards prefers cut grass - clearly a weed reference.

Judge for yourself:

across: Who did you vote for in the 2004 U.S. presidential election? [straight results]
down: Do you prefer the smell of fresh tennis balls or freshly mowed grass? [straight results]

George W. Bush & Dick Cheney John Kerry & John Edwards
Mowed Grass 1 9
Tennis Balls 3 0

Report a bug or problem

Alex October 2nd, 2007

If you think you have found a bug, you can email it to admin at OurQuiz dot com.
it is most helpful to copy and paste the error message or whatever doesn’t belong.
if that is not enough fun for you, you can do the same in a comment on this post.
thanks!

Intermission change

Alex September 30th, 2007

prugasm had a great idea! She comlained that the intermission only showed results of random questions, but there were some questions she really wanted to see the results of.
she suggested either showing all the results, or allowing the user to mark the questions [as they were answered] to be included in the results.
…or maybe… a user could change a preference setting to show all/some/none of the results.

what do you think? is more good? or are there too many already? or should they be pick-and-choose?

What is with the ocean?

Alex September 22nd, 2007

Wow, the ocean has a strong effect on people! It makes people into superman fans, and now it also affects our love for our fathers … or does it make us wiser about making a sacrifice to save our fathers? Wouldn’t he want us to go on living?
Consider the correlation of these two questions:

across: Do you live near the ocean? [straight results]
down: Would you take a bullet to save your father’s life? [straight results]

Far from the sea Near the ocean
Save dad! 11 0
Dad can save himself 1 9

Does Stephen King cause nightmares or do nightmares cause Stephen King fans?

Alex September 2nd, 2007

Alright, this is not very surprising, but it is interesting: When answering this question:
What was the earliest dream in your life that you can remember?
The people who have read a Stephen King novel answered with ‘nightmares.’

Big deal, right? Right. See, the question asked about the earliest dream we could remember. Did an early batch of nightmares give us a taste for being scared? Or did reading Stephen King remind us of our nightmares and keep them fresh in our memories?

Across: What was the earliest dream in your life that you can remember? [straight results]
Down: Have you ever read a novel by Stephen King? [straight results]

  a funny
dream
a good
dream
nightmare a wet
dream
Have read King 2 2 18 1
Haven’t read King 2 1 1 1

Puking vs. life in the universe

Alex August 2nd, 2007

alright, so three-quarters of us have actually made our selves puke [for whatever reason].
and, 9 in 10 of us think there i life outside the solar system.

but check this out: nobody who has made themselves vomit believes we are alone in the universe. so does that mean that people who are too good to make themselves vomit think that mankind is too special not to be king of the universe? hmmm.

across: Is there life outside our solar system? [straight results]
down: Have you ever made yourself vomit? [straight results]

  We are alone aliens abound!
i puke all the time 2 13
i won’t ever puke! 5 0
